We have been baking treats for our pets for many years. It is wonderful to turn a hobby and real passion into a family run business where we work together to develop our own unique recipes. All products are quality tested by our pets and their friends far and wide, we have some fussy testers!
We use human grade ingredients which are locally sourced where possible and believe in supporting and working with local traders.
We grow our own herbs suitable for pets to add in our mouth watering recipes to give extra flavour and many other health benefits. All orders are made fresh and can be frozen to use more sparingly if you wish which is ideal.
As a business our vision is to develop further treats for different pets, which are not only safe for animal consumption but part of a healthy balanced diet. All our products should be used as a reward, for training or a special treat. It is very important to make sure pets have access to fresh clean drinking water.
Our products have no artificial colourings or flavourings. We do not use refined sugars or salt. We use predominately wholemeal rye flour which is much lower in fat, aids digestion, has more calcium and iron than other flours and controls insulin levels better. We pride ourselves on not using fillers to bulk treats, we only use the best ingredients.
We care about the making of our pet treats and have an EU Feed Hygiene Certificate GB-560-E304 and Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate. We comply with UK food regulations, all our products are currently vegan, there are no meat or animal by products and therefore not registered with DEFRA. All our products have been independently tested by a UKAS accredited food test laboratory for nutritional analysis.
Feedback is so important to us at Finley’s, we continually look to develop recipes to taste specification and the needs of our four legged friends!
We support pet adoption to find forever homes for abandoned animals and have rescued all our own pets from the Bryn-y-Maen Rescue Centre, Colwyn Bay & North Clwyd Animal Rescue (NCAR). We believe in working in partnership with businesses, local charities and communities to support animal welfare.
